Description

A project for Dog Quality done at Mistywest - we designed and delivered two prototypes of a big dog stroller targeted towards elderly large dogs. This involved mechanical and industrial design.

Requirements

• Maximize bed area for dog

• Must fit through a standard door frame

• Must be easily foldable for storage & transport

• Had to be sturdy enough for a heavy (100lb) dog

• Had a mechanism to facilitate dog entry & exit

Unique Notes

This was a challenging project, but a very rewarding one. Most of the challenges surrounding this project were related to budget, BOM cost, and quality of tube bending suppliers. Dog Quality is still working on bringing this product to life - in the meantime, I love looking at these photos of it in use!
