An infrared (IR) transmitter used in the hydrogen fueling industry for transmitting wireless data from a fuel-cell vehicle to a receiver on the gas station kiosk (see Nozzle Receiver).
Most Hydrogen vehicle manufacturers use their own IR transmitters installed into their vehicles. This product is mainly used by Hydrogen station manufacturers for testing in conjunction with its sister product the IR Nozzle Receiver. When designing USB products, care must be taken to follow the standards for maximum current and in-rush current or the product may not work across all computers/controllers.
