A bluetooth controlled wake-up lamp and Android app.  This lamp simulates a sunrise at a specified time before your alarm goes off.  This helps prepare the body for an easier, more gradual wake-up similar to how sunlight facilitates getting out of bed in the summer.

Unique Notes

Existing wake up lamps can cost over $100 and are not controlled wirelessly through a smart phone.  Since many people sleep with their smart phones nearby, the idea was to consolidate most of the alarm tasks & electronics into your smart phone, allowing the lamp itself to be made with simpler parts.  We are currently working to bring this product to life through small volume production or crowd funding.
